Voodoo Lily is celebrating 10 years of hard-swinging blues and jazz styles - from the street parades of New Orleans to the rockin’ swing clubs of Paris. Voodoo Lily offers an exciting lineup of shows and concerts around the area and is a favorite of local dancers.
Voodoo Lily, based in Boulder, Colorado, plays an eclectic mix of Delta Blues, New Orleans Jazz, Gypsy Jazz, Latin and Swing. The band, formed in 2015, features Micah Parkin (who was raised in the Mississippi Delta and moved from New Orleans to CO in 2007) on vocals/percussion, Rob Pate on guitar/vocals, Bill Pontarelli on clarinet/vocals, Duane Webster on bass/vocals, William Garrison on drums, and Nate Bitter on trombone. And other great area musicians can frequently be spotted sitting in at local shows!
The band currently plays on the first Saturday of each month at the Hotel Boulderado’s License No. 1 bar and frequently at the St Julien Hotel & Spa. Find upcoming performances under “shows”.
